Whats that saying? Rainen no koto ieba, oni ga warau?
If you're unfamiliar it basically means if you talk about the future the devil will laugh at you. Aptly fitting for the situation we've been in.
Yeah I know, cringe, Subaru said it, but it is in fact a real saying. Other fun stuff, 'warau' means to laugh and so in chat rooms 'www' basically means 'lol'. I know in more recent years games tend to be pretty locked down in regional sense, but you used to more freely choose who you wanted to play with. Rampaging through PVP RO or PSO2 spamming WWWWWW is always fun. ANYWAY-If you Follow our sister blog ACE TN you've already heard but if not, and you're unaware I'm in East Tennessee, where not too long ago a hurricane decided to wreck the place. Well we're a tough lot and it takes little more then Dolly Parton singing a song to pull us through. But the plans for a rhythm arcade got put on major hold.
Cancelled shipments galore, road outages all over the east coast raising shipping costs of those who can still sell, and a few that went entirely dark and we pray they're still alive out there somewhere. But we haven't given up hope. A disappointing fall and nice break for the holidays and we're getting right back on the horse. That's not to say I've been slacking in the mean time either. And you've got no idea how upset I was to see the Silent Hill Robby Rabbit toys hit the market. Remember? The ones I swore I saw but could never find again? They were REAL! Needless to say, I missed out.
So where do I go from here? Well first off, its time to make some money. I'll be appearing at conventions again starting in June. After that however I'm still working with Crane to get the Rhythm arcade going. This time however its in partnership with ACE TN. They're looking to rent a facility and when they do we'll be located within their shop. Currently I run their website, so I'll drop info soon as I know it. They are setting up to run conventions to fund the opening of their shop and its their events that I'll start going to in June. Not sure if Crane will be bringing his Arcade, at least not to the June one due to power restraints.
Anyway glad to be back, talk to you again real soon!
